TABATA workouts will kick your arse!

Today I decided to create a bunch of Tabata workouts for my clients. I don’t know why but I just feel like kicking all of their asses SUPER bad this week! Tabata is a style of interval training which consists of 4 minute rounds.

Supplements

I have compiled a list of the supplements I take regularly. This is not the list of everything I take throughout the year since sometimes I take a few more goodies while prepping for a figure competition nor is it a list of what you should take. It’s just a list of the supplements that I believe are safe for most people and effective. They also make me feel good and don’t give me stomach upsets.  I am not crazy religious with taking my supplements except for my protein powder, BCAAs post workouts although I forget to take them at other times,  amazing grass/wheat grass, multivitamin, and fish oil. I should be better about taking my Vitamin D3 (I have a slight deficiency) and Calcium so I’m working on it. Everything else kinda sits in my drawer waiting to see when it’ll be scooped up. I bet they are even placing bets haha.  Why is it so damn hard for me to just take them all every single day? I’ll tell you why, because I’m a human too:-) I mostly just forget, fall asleep or sometimes my throat just closes up and I literally can’t get them down.  In fact, I didn’t know how to swallow pills until my late teens. As a kid my mom always had to crush them all up for me. I guess it’s a weird psychological thing that still happens to me sometimes. I don’t beat myself up over not being consistent with taking them all because my 90% of the time clean and healthy diet takes care of most of my nutritional needs.

Do you want to stick something bad in your body just to look great? No way, especially since you don’t have to. If you’re going to eat sugar free foods then do it only in moderation better yet eat a piece of fruit. Many dieters love to snack on sugar free jello, gum, jam, pop, pudding, sugar substitutes, and candy all day everyday for the entire duration of their diet. Sugar free foods are made to be addictive and they make you think you are craving real sugar when you are actually craving more sugar free foods which may cause you to go on a binge and eat everything in sight. If you avoid sugar free foods while dieting you won’t get cravings for them and instead when you do crave real sugar you can satisfy it by eating some delicious red strawberries! Of course there will be times when you salivate at the sight of ice cream, cake, chocolate and other goodies but that’s what cheat days are for.
